For those extending the adventure within Kauai before or after President's Club, there are several ride-share or rental car alternatives.

A: Given the journey, you are more than welcome to extend your trip prior to or post official President’s Club dates (May 4-8, 2026) and location (Kauai, HI).  The travel section of the registration form will capture your desired travel dates and routing.  Each qualifier & guest has a per-person allowance for flight costs based on your location.  Any flight cost beyond this allocation would be a personal expense and paid directly to Reed and Macay (travel agency).  Please email udemy.events@reedmackay.com.

Udemy has negotiated a rate of $485 plus applicable tax with a waived resort fee at the Grand Hyatt Kauai. This rate is available upon hotel availability pre and post the event.  The Udemy event team will make the extension request on your behalf and confirm with you to see if the hotel can accommodate.  All additional charges at the hotel beyond what is included within the event can be settled upon check-out with a personal credit card.

A: Arrangements for accommodations for President’s Club are handled via a group contract.  Hotel room assignments and locations are assigned based on the roles from the Udemy organization attending the event.  Room assignments are made on behalf of the group.

Any requests such as early check in or late check out will be shared with the hotel and considered based on the hotel’s occupancy level and availability.

A. As much of President’s Club is rest and relaxation time, please feel free to order lunch, have a cocktail at the pool or just chill in the room with room service. Udemy will remove up to $120 a day per double room from your sleeping room incidentals ($60 for individuals). Anything above and beyond this amount you have charged to your room will be at your expense and settled upon check-out.

A: May in Kauai is a favorite time for visitors because it offers a perfect transition from the wetter spring to the drier, sunnier summer. You can expect warm, tropical temperatures, calm ocean conditions, and moderate humidity. Expect a high of 80 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and low 70s in the evening.

Lightweight, breathable clothing is ideal. We recommend packing summer outfits, swimwear, sandals, a hat, and plenty of sunscreen. For evenings or indoor venues, bring something a little dressier but still relaxed - think resort chic.
