Frequently Asked Questions

Who is SSKO for?

SSKO 2026 is a global gathering of select customer facing UB team members to gather and set our go to market path toward success.

SSKO is a Udemate celebration of last year's efforts and a focused working kickoff event. Our time is for strategy, collaboration, and internal bonding. This meeting is for Udemates only.

Official invitees have been sent a invitation via Navan to book travel via a custom Navan event link. Please ask Jennfier Linale in #ssko26-infor-updates if you do not see the link or have any issues.

For cost savings efforts as we begin the FY26 year, all flights are to be booked in economy fare. Our standard travel policy will not be followed for this event.

Please book your flights by the end of the day on Tuesday, December 23. Navan will send you an email confirmation of the booking. Flight details can be added to your calendar.

EMEA & APAC: You can adjust your arrival and departure dates for the best route and lowest fare. Please include any adjusted hotel dates in your registration. Plan to arrive by the evening of Tuesday, January 27.

North America & LATAM: Book flights to arrive by the evening of Tuesday, January 27 Anyone making flight arrangements, please check with your Team Leader if any immediate team socials or breakout meetings are planned.

Please check the US Department of State site to confirm if a temporary visa is required based on your country of residence. The global mobility team (immigration@udemy.com) can support you with any documentation required associated with your Visa application process.

We encourage local UB invitees to stay with the rest of the SSKO attendees at the Sheraton Downtown Denver Hotel given the extended agenda for Wednesday and Thursday’s agenda. Arrangements can be secured as part of your event registration process. The Sheraton has on site parking with 24 hour access that can be billed to your sleeping room.

Taxi transportation can be secured just outside baggage claim at the Denver International Airport (DEN). Rideshare pickups at Denver International Airport (DEN) are located on Island 5 of the Jeppsesen Terminal, on both East and West sides. You can also find curbside pickup on the 5th level (Level 5) of the terminal, near specific doors. Look for a fellow Udemate in line for a shared trip to the hotel! Ground transportation expenses can be reimbursed via the Navan site.

Transportation options and instructions to/from the Denver International Airport can be found here

Not at all. Denver, CO welcomes all visiting travelers coming in for a temporary visit that have secured all proper documentation as outlined by the US Department of State. At this time, Denver is not experiencing ‌elevated or extreme ICE activity review or any immigration-related issues impacting International travelers in the Denver area. The city has experienced a 33% decrease in overall crime since 2021 to ensure navigating throughout the city and experiences the sites outside the hosted hotel can be enjoyed You can find more information on our host city here.

SSKO is subject to standard business travel expense policies. As per the Travel & Expense FAQ standard travel expenses, appropriate hotel stay incidentals, and internet charges can be expensed to your department via Navan.

Local invitees may expense parking downtown for the event days of SSKO.

This will be covered by Udemy if the seat selection falls within the maximum cost parameter on your Navan flight booking
